"I tried paying twice and both..."
I tried paying twice and both times the site just errored out after I’d already put in my card info. No clear message or anything, and there wasn’t any quick help to figure out what happened. I ended up having to keep checking my bank for pending charges. Just a really annoying checkout experience

"Setup was such a pain!!!"
I bought this bed thinking the install support would make things easier, but it was a headache!!! The instructions didn’t really match the parts I had, and when I reached out for help, the replies were super slow and didn’t actually explain anything clearly!!! I ended up just paying a local handyman to come figure it out. For what this cost, I really expected better support with setup!!! So frustrating!!!

"Pricing was kind of hit or miss"
At first, the prices seemed decent, but then extra costs started popping up later, which made the whole thing feel a bit unclear. I had to dig around just to find basic info, that’s hit or miss for me. Some parts seemed okay, but I’m not a fan of having to work that hard to understand what I’m actually paying.

"Checkout Was a Pain"
I figured ordering would be simple, but I was wrong quick. The checkout kept failing, and I assumed support would sort it out fast, but they weren’t much help. Frustrating experience overall

"Warranty support was kind of a mess"
I tried getting help with the warranty, but i never really got anywhere. There was just something about it that felt frustrating, and in the end I didn’t get any actual support

"Return policy feels way too strict"
I was seriously considering ordering from Modloft, but the return policy kind of scared me off. When you’re spending that much on furniture, it feels like the customer is the one taking all the risk if the piece doesn’t look right, fit the space, or just doesn’t work out in person.

The restocking fees, short return window, and return shipping details already made me nervous, but what really frustrated me was getting inconsistent answers when I tried to clarify things. One response made it sound like returns were possible, another made it feel like there were a bunch of catches. Maybe the furniture is great, but I didn’t feel confident enough to place an order.

"I ordered a bed from Modloft..."
I ordered a bed from Modloft, and when it arrived, some of the hardware was missing and one of the side rails was the wrong color. I sent photos to support right away, but it took several days just to get a basic response. I feel like when you’re paying this much for furniture, it’s only fair to expect the right pieces and quicker help when something goes wrong. I’m still waiting on the correct parts, so the bed is sitting half-built in my room. Frustrating experience overall

"Looked better in the photos"
It looked really nice online. Clean lines, simple, that whole thing. But once I got it home... I don’t know. It just felt kind of cold in the room. More boxy than I expected, a little too plain for my space. The pictures made it seem warmer somehow. Not bad furniture, just not really my style

"Doesn’t feel very customizable"
I was disappointed with the customization. I expected to be able to tweak things like size, finishes, or little details, but most of it felt like it was already decided for you. Maybe this is just how these “custom” options usually are, but based on my experience, it felt more like choosing from a regular catalog than actually designing something. For the price, I just expected more flexibility. Not really worth it for me.

"Looks great online, but I’d be careful"
I ordered a table from Modloft because it looked really stylish online, but once it arrived, I was disappointed.

There were small marks in the finish right out of the box, and one of the corners looked a little uneven. For the price, I expected something that felt sturdy and high-end, but it came across kind of cheap in person.

I really tried to give it a chance, but after just a few weeks it was already showing wear. Just a heads up for anyone considering buying from them, the photos may look nice, but the quality didn’t match for me.

"Delivery scheduling was a moving target"
The delivery scheduling was a mess. They kept changing the window on me with barely any notice, and it felt like the goalposts moved every time I tried to plan around it. I took time off work twice and both times ended up sitting around for nothing. When I contacted support, they basically just told me to wait for another email, which wasn’t helpful at all...

"The photos didn’t match what I received"
When I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was that it didn’t really look like the pictures on the site. The color was noticeably different, and the finish had a completely different look than what I expected from the photos. I based my order on how it appeared online, so it was disappointing to see such a big difference in person.

"I was disappointed when it..."
I was disappointed when it arrived. It looked great in the photos, but once I actually saw it and touched it, it just felt kind of cheap. The edges were rough, and the finish started showing marks way sooner than I expected. For the price, I was expecting a lot better, you know? I don’t think I’d buy from modloft again.

"Not What I Expected"
The item looked way better online than it did when it arrived. The description made it seem like it would be solid and more high-end, but in person it felt basic and not worth the price. Delivery also took longer than expected, which just made the whole experience more frustrating. I really feel like some kind of refund or credit would be fair here because this didn’t match what was advertised. I wouldn’t order it again.

"Showed up damaged"
Not saying it’s a scam, but it was really disappointing to open the box and find it already scratched and dented. I was expecting something new, so yeah, not happy with this at all.

I’m disappointed with how this whole order turned out. I expected better, and this wasn’t a great experience at all. If this is the kind of service I can expect going forward, I’ll probably take my business somewhere else.

"Packaging Was Apparently an Afterthought"
The box showed up ripped with the corners all smashed in, which was definitely a choice. Nothing inside really felt protected, so I guess I was just supposed to hope for the best

"Looks nice, but the quality is sooo disappointing"
I really wanted to like this bed frame because it looked great online, but in person it’s just not made well. The edges don’t line up right, the finish chips way too easily, and overall it feels soooo much cheaper than what I paid for it

"Getting a refund was frustrating"
The refund process ended up being a real headache. I had to keep checking in, and the replies were slow. It kind of felt like no one really wanted to take ownership and sort it out, if that makes sense. Definitely not the experience I expected after spending money there.
